Some basic Port No.

Hello guys I am attaching a picture of some basic port no. which are important for interview purpose and troubleshooting purpose. So guys I hope it will helpful for you all .

Let me explain about the services.

1-DNS(Domain Name System)- It resolve IP to name and name to IP.

2-HTTP(Hyper text transfer protocol)- It is the set of rules for transferring files (text, graphic images, sound, video, and other multimedia files) on the World Wide Web.

3-HTTPS(Hyper text transfer protocol secure) -It is the set of rules for transferring files (text, graphic images, sound, video, and other multimedia files) on the World Wide Web in a secure way.

4-SMTP(Simple mail transfer protocol):This protocol used to send e-mail.

5-POP(Post office protocol)- Used to receive mail.

6-SNMP(Simple Network Management protocol)- Used to device management and device monitoring .

7-TELNET(Terminal Emulator)- Used to access devices remotely.

8-FTP(File transfer protocol)-used for the transfer of computer files from a server to a client.

9-SSH(Secure Shell)- It is used to acess the remote devices in a secure way.
