Circuit Switching

A type of communications in which a dedicated channel or link  (or circuit) is established for the duration of a transmission. The most ubiquitous circuit-switching network is the telephone system, which links together wire segments to create a single unbroken line for each telephone call.

1-It establish a connection between both station.
2-It use a dedicated path to transfer data.
3-It use only only one path to transmission till the disconnection of connection.

 Circuit-switching networks are sometimes called connection-oriented networks. 
Circuit-switching used for calling.

 Packet Switching:

Packet switching used many path to transmit the data.
Packet switching is a digital network transmission process in which data is broken into small chunks or blocks for fast and efficient transfer via different network devices or path. When a computer attempts to send a file to another computer, the file is broken into packets so that it can be sent across the network in the most efficient way. These packets are then routed by network devices to the destination.
