*Used to access devices remotely.
*It used Port No. TCP 23
*It transmit all the traffic in the clear text.
*So its not secure.
How to use telnet?
In windows Operating system you can use command promt .
Syntex:
Telnet device IP.
Router configuration on Cisco device(Router and Switch).
*Go to the Router or switch,s consol.
R1>
R1> enable
R1#
R1(config)#
R1(config)#enable password
R1(config)#LINE VTY 0 4
R1(config-line)#password
R1(config-line)login
